Alex Barbosa came to real estate from the property side. A licensed contractor since 1992, he knows construction, renovations and property improvements firsthand. That background gives him another perspective when he works with buyers, sellers, landlords and investors: a property is more than a listing or a sales price, and its condition, potential and long-term use all play a part in the decision.
In 2001 the Barbosa family's brokerage experience began with ABCO Real Estate Corp., an independently owned brokerage where Alex built a business on personal service, trust and long-term relationships. That experience grew into Plan A Realty Corp., where Alex is the owner and a licensed New York State real estate broker.
In 2023 his son, Alexander Jordan Barbosa, joined as a New York State licensed real estate salesperson, the second generation of the Barbosa family in the business.
